Evergreen adds to order backlog with deals for 23 ships worth up to almost $1.5 billion

The latest orders increase Evergreen’s capacity backlog to 926,000 TEUs, boosting the carrier’s total capacity on the water and on order to almost 2.85 million TEUs and making it the world’s fifth-largest container line.
