She had completed a voyage from Egypt to the Sea of Marmara, and declared her destination as &#8220;Kroman,&#8221; the name of a large steel fabrication plant in nearby Kocaeli.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At about 0500 GMT on November 21, in strong southerly winds, the <em>Orca <\/em>dragged anchor and made contact with the coastal freighter <em>DSK1<\/em>, which was also at anchor. A crewmember of the DSK1 caught the incident on camera as the <em>Orca <\/em>banged into the freighter&#8217;s port side, and he recorded a flurry of VHF calls back and forth as the watchstanders on both ships discussed the unexpected situation. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"340\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/g-a8fCOq6q4?si=3cFs_2PVZ9M5jHGr&amp;start=1\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"600\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Orca<\/em> soon drifted free, and under power, she repositioned to another location in the anchorage.
