Among those welcoming the M\/V <em>Karl<\/em> was CARB chair Liane Randolph.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dM\/V <em>Karl <\/em>is a perfect example of what is possible when cleaner transportation options are embraced and brought to market,\u201d she said. \u201cThis passenger ferry will provide Bay Area residents and visitors alike with an alternative that recognizes the importance of clean air and public health in the communities adjacent to the Bay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Preceded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinelog.com\/passenger\/ferries\/weta-takes-delivery-of-fast-new-ferry\/\">M\/V <em>Dorado <\/em><\/a>and M\/V <em>Delphinus,<\/em> M\/V <em>Karl <\/em>and her sisters are expected to be joined by the fourth and final vessel in the Dorado class, M\/V <em>Zalophus<\/em>, at the end of the year.
