Fincantieri, one of the world\u2019s largest shipbuilding groups, this week hosted \u201cFull speed ahead: The U.S. Shipbuilding Renaissance,\u201d a Washington, D.C., event bringing together senior voices from government, industry, and the national security community to examine the strategic future of American maritime power.<\/p>\n
The event opened with remarks from George Moutafis, newly appointed CEO of Fincantieri Marine Group <\/a>(FMG), and Jan Allman, CEO of Fincantieri Marinette Marine, who reaffirmed the company\u2019s long-term commitment to the United States through its unique \u201cSystem of Shipyards\u201d across Wisconsin. This industrial network\u2014operating in Marinette, Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay and Florida \u2014employs more than 3,000 people and stands as a cornerstone of Midwest manufacturing resurgence.<\/p>\n Moderated by Vice Adm.
