It is part of a larger programme that recently added several advanced warships to the fleet, including INS Arnala, INS Nistar, INS Udaygiri, and INS Nilgiri.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IndianNavy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IndianNavy<\/a> is set to commission <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Androth?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Androth<\/a>, the second Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC), at a ceremonial event scheduled to be held on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/06Oct?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#06Oct<\/a> 2025 at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony will be presided over by VAdm Rajesh Pendharkar, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FoCinC?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FoCinC<\/a>,\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iAjFL74VAi\">pic.twitter.com\/iAjFL74VAi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 SpokespersonNavy (@indiannavy) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/indiannavy\/status\/1974823385176916064?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 5, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The vessel has been built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata, with over 80% of its components made in India.
