ADNOC Logistics & Services PLC and TA\u2019ZIZ have signed a contract to build a chemicals port at the TA\u2019ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone in Al Ruwais.<\/p>\n

The former will own and operate the facility, while the latter will ensure it remains efficient in exporting chemicals and their derivatives.<\/p>\n

The port, valued at more than $300 million, will be completed by 2026 end and is estimated to generate over $1.3 billion in revenue in the first 27 years of operation.<\/p>\n

TA\u2019ZIZ is also developing the UAE\u2019s first chemicals ecosystem, and by 2028 end, it will produce 4.7 million tons of chemicals annually.<\/p>\n

The system would include a tank terminal, feedstock pipelines, and infrastructure, including roads, emergency response, health and safety, etc.<\/p>\n

This would include low-carbon ammonia, caustic soda, methanol, ethylene dichloride (EDC), vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).<\/p>\n

Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO of ADNOC L&S, said that this agreement will offer ADNOC a sustainable revenue stream and support TA\u2019ZIZ\u2019s growing chemicals ecosystem.<\/p>\n

He added that this initiative shows their commitment to expanding into high-growth sectors and contributing to the UAE\u2019s industrial advancement.<\/p>\n

The project is also expected to create thousands of jobs and enable TA\u2019ZIZ to deliver new end-products for various industries, including agriculture, construction, and healthcare.<\/p>\n

Mashal Al-Kindi, CEO of TA\u2019ZIZ, said that the new chemicals port would enable them to export their goods to markets in Asia and Africa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
