We\u2019re proud to partner with Roffs and Fathom Science whose trusted expertise and forecasting technology is making this cutting-edge feature possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Engineered exclusively for Simrad displays, fully integrated with C-Map charts and developed by Fathom Science, FishCast combines over a decade of Roff\u2019s fishing forecast analyses with real-time oceanographic conditions. With FishCast<sub>,<\/sub> no extra gear is needed, just a simple subscription purchased from the C-Map store unlocks access to powerful fishing insights.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>FishCast oceanographic intelligence includes key habitat parameters like ocean water temperature, ocean color\/clarity, currents, frontal boundaries, bottom structure, and Roffs historical hotspot data. This data is analyzed using Fathom Science\u2019s AI-enabled ocean analytics to produce optimal catch location maps, reducing uncertainty and increasing confidence.<\/p>\n<p>FishCast enables anglers to scroll through real time and forecasted Sea Surface Temperature, Ocean Color, and hotspots for upcoming hours and days. Daily forecasts are broken into three-hour windows, and anglers can define a custom search radius of up to 120 nautical miles from a selected home port. FishCast then generates a ranked list of optimal fishing spots within that area. The overlay can be toggled on or off and works in conjunction with other Simrad chart layers, like radar and bathymetry.<\/p>\n<p>This feature is available exclusively with C-MAP charts on Simrad<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> NSX<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, NSX ULTRAWIDE and NSS<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 4 displays. Coverage currently includes the entire U.S. East Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Bahamas, and parts of the northern Caribbean, with expansion to additional regions planned.<\/p>\n<p>FishCast is available by subscription and will be showcased for the first time at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 29 to November 2.
