Ukraine launched a drone attack on Russia on the night of November 2, 2025. The Russian Black Sea Port of Tuapse was severely damaged as a fire engulfed part of it, impacting the oil terminal as well.<\/p>\n

Russian Air Defence Unit claimed to have taken down atleast 164 Ukrainian drones during the attack.<\/p>\n

The Krasnodar region administration stated that the attack by UAVs is being handled, and it was a part of Ukraine\u2019s campaign to disrupt military logistics. Though there have been no reports of casualties and it was not clear which infrastructure had suffered from damage.<\/p>\n

Damages were also reported because of the falling drone debris, which also led to a fire.<\/p>\n

The port houses the strategically important Tuapse oil terminal and Rosneft-controlled oil refinery, both of which have come under attack many times this year.<\/p>\n

Ukraine has, in recent months, intensified its attacks on Russian refineries, depots and pipelines in retaliation for attacks on Ukraine\u2019s power grid.<\/p>\n

These attacks aim at putting pressure on fuel supplies, disrupting military logistics and preventing Russia\u2019s wartime spending.<\/p>\n

An apartment building in Sosnovy, outside Tuapse, was also damaged by drone debris, though no injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
