Mosterhamn, Norway-based self-discharging bulker specialis<\/a>t Aasen Shipping has again opted for W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 solutions for the latest in a series of six 9,500 DWT bulkers. Under construction at the Royal Bodewes shipyard in the Netherlands, it will operate with one six-cylinder W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 25 main engine fitted with a W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 NOx Reducer, a W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 gearbox and controllable pitch propeller with shaft line, and a W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 ProTouch remote propulsion control system<\/p>\n Aasen Shipping is focused on using the latest technologies to cut emissions, reduce fuel consumption and keep carbon-costs to a minimum.
