During FY25, the terminal had a contracted capacity of 40 million tonnes and reported A$228 million in EBITDA on a proforma basis.

On this basis, NQXT accounted for approximately 6% of APSEZ’s revenue and 7% of its EBITDA for the financial year.

The terminal primarily serves mining customers operating in Australia’s Bowen and Galilee basins, exporting bulk commodities to markets across North Asia and South-East Asia. Its natural deep-water characteristics allow it to accommodate large vessels and support long-term export operations.

Reference: Adani

MI News Network

Go to marine insight

Adani Ports Completes Full Acquisition Of Australia’s NQXT Terminal Image Credits: Adani Group/Facebook Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) has completed the acquisition of 100% ownership of NQXT Australia, a natural deep-water, multi-user export terminal located at Abbot Point in North Queensland.
