It also stated that residents and rescue teams were continuing to search for at least six others who remain missing.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Sudan Doctors Network, authorities have been urged to send specialised rescue teams and proper equipment to speed up the search operations.<\/p>\n<p>Boat accidents are not uncommon in Sudan. Similar tragedies involving overloaded vessels have occurred in the past, as safety measures are often ignored on the country\u2019s waterways.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the capsising has not yet been officially confirmed.
