A stern ramp will permit the embarkation and disembarkation of wheeled cargo.<\/p>\n<p>The vessels will each be fitted with diesel-electric propulsion systems with four variable-speed generators and azimuthing fixed-pitch main propellers and bow thrusters that deliver enhanced manoeuvrability.
