It will be designed with sustainability, safety, and cutting-edge environmental features.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel\u2019s methanol dual-fuel main engine, combined with advanced emission-reduction technologies such as an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system for the main engine, a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system for the generator, and an open desulfurization washing tower, ensures compliance with the most recent environmental emission standards.<\/p>\n<p>The revolutionary design maximizes energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p>The ship\u2019s comprehensive design aims to optimize performance in all aspects. It will have advanced technology for energy efficiency, cargo management, operation and maintenance, and overall ship operations.<\/p>\n<p>The project is a collaboration between Dalian Shipbuilding and China Merchants Shipping, a key strategic partner. The two companies have a proven track record of collaborating on ground-breaking projects, including 300,000-ton VLCCs and LNG carriers.<\/p>\n<p>Per reports, the construction of this vessel is a major step toward the adoption of green and low-carbon technologies.
