The company follows a comprehensive integrated certification system, which includes global ISO certifications such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ISO 21070 for managing waste and protecting the marine environment<\/li>\n<li>ISO 45001 for ensuring health and safety<\/li>\n<li>ISO 22000 for maintaining food safety<\/li>\n<li>ISO 50001 for improving energy efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, MSC World America also holds Bureau Veritas\u2019 Cleanship notation, which shows the ship\u2019s efforts to minimise air and water pollution and reduce waste through proactive systems.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel also has additional class notations that focus on controlling underwater noise, helping to protect marine life from sound disturbances.<\/p>\n<p>The ship has been specially built with energy efficiency in mind. It exceeds the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation\u2019s Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI).<\/p>\n<p>The ship is powered by next-generation LNG (liquefied natural gas) engines and is ready for a transition to renewable fuels, including bio-LNG and synthetic fuels.<\/p>\n<p>It is fitted with shore power connection capabilities.
