Helm CONNECT\u2019s dispatching platform will transform WSF\u2019s operations by improving the efficiency, consistency, and accessibility of processes and information to support the effective management of agency operations, as well as service delivery to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The new system will optimize complicated processes such as watch\/shift scheduling and dispatching, position and vacation bidding, training, and qualifications. Additional benefits include improvements to the transparency of the information, application data security, payroll auditing, and verification that agency policy and U.S. Coast Guard regulations are followed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is more than a software upgrade \u2014 it\u2019s a mission-critical overhaul,\u201d said Nolan Barclay, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marinelog.com\/passenger\/ferries\/marine-logs-ferries-2022-sees-continued-uptick-in-attendance\/\">Helm Operations.<\/a> \u201cWSF plays an essential role in the daily lives of thousands of Washingtonians.
