“In 2022, the unemployment rate among youths was six times greater than among persons with a secondary or higher level of education (at 18.4 percent) and nine times greater among graduates (at 29.1 percent) than for persons who cannot read and write (at 3.4 percent).”
The lower result though, is still about three times the overall unemployment rate in China (5.1 percent) and reflects the quandary facing young people there. (For comparison, the OECD average is 10.5 percent.)
of course, yes.. india is going for 7 and china is widely expected to not hit 5% gdp growth this year…
